Convince me to not buy season tickets

I just snapped out of a cold sweat where I almost shelled out $1200 for a couple of season tickets for this year. I came close. I figured if there was anyone on Earth that could talk me out of this hefty purchase it was you ****ers.

Pros:

Chiefs games and tailgaiting
The Chiefs could win the division, maybe a playoff game or two, or who knows how far?
I popped over 10k at the casino, it's free money (Except it's just a portion of money I've given them in the past)

Cons:

3 hour drive each way to the stadium
God knows how much for parking
Concessions prices
The Chiefs could suck dick again this year (Christ, could you imagine the ramifications if all world qb Matt Cassel went down?)
I may get arrested should I haplessly drop a candy wrapper somewhere inside the gates

So you're at about $1,900 before you even think about tailgating supplies. **** man. I ended up dropping around $900 on my season ticket last year, and I got to watch some shit ass football.
Double the gas, and 28 bare minimum for parking.

1200 tickets
650 Gas
280 parking
300 concessions
750 booze and bbq

$3180 total. Minimum. $318 on average per game. Hadn't thought of all that. Really not a monetary issue at all at this point. It's the time commitment. I don't get both weekend days off, just Sunday. That's a crazy way to sandwich two work days. Fun as a mother****er, but crazy none the less.

I would have bought st long ago if they didn't make you buy preseason tix.

Take that money and pick 4 or 5 games you want to see and buy pimp tickets for them.

The Arrowhead experience is awesome; but watching the game on TV is much, much more enjoyable than live. There's something special about the tailgating and how loud and crazy the place gets; but it's not something I think I need to do 8-10 times a year again.

Maybe 2 games a year maximum and I'm good.

Let me pay for 8 games and move on from Cassel.

Yes, the ultimate goal is a Championship, but if a person likes the game experiences, then they should go. Simple as that.

I'd pay to watch preseason games if our QB was Matt Ryan.

If you live that far away don't do it. I have boycotted my yearly trip or 2 until we have a new QB. You'd be better off picking a couple of select games and watch the rest at home.

There's a high level of probability that Al Queda will be tossing airliners into football stadiums this year and they think hitting the heartland will send a message.

Hows that !

I'm in the same boat, save for the living place. I live about 10 minutes (tops) from Arrowhead. When we go, we like to go with multiple friends as that adds to the exp.

I'd rather just spend a little more and go to a select few games and save some money. Plus with having to buy preseason bs tickets, no thanks.
