Underrated Sega Genesis games

I bought a Genesis this weekend and got Sonic 1 & 2, X-Men, Adventures of Batman and Robin, Aladdin, and am looking to get some more eventually. I already know I want Castlevania Bloodlines, Sonic and Knuckles, TMNT: Hyperstone Heist, Streets of Rage 2, and a few more. Anyone recommend some good games that are maybe under the radar?

Good call on Eternal Champions and Zero Tolerance (this game freaked me out back in the day)

The overkills were cool but they were damn near impossible to do.

I completely forgot about one of my favs from back in the day. Mutant League Hockey. I checked online and it's pretty expensive compared to a lot of used Genesis games. 25-30 bucks is the cheapest. I love that game though.

The nostalgia doesn't wear off quick for me. I actually enjoy a lot of the old school games. In some ways, they're more fun than the newer games with realistic graphics. It helps that I have a brother that I live with, and he is into the old games as much as I am. So I almost always have someone to play the fun co-op games with. We've been trying to snag a copy of Turtles In Time on SNES for a while now. Might have to order that one online. The Vintage Stock stores down here don't ever have it.

Yea the good games from back in the day are hard to get and are almost as much as brand new games for current systems lol. I dropped $60 for Secret Of Mana on SNES a week ago. $40 for Link To The Past like two months ago.

I'm with you 125% on the nostalgia factor, doesn't wear off on me either. I can play Zelda games til my eyes bleed lol.

Honestly, the Lion King game was pretty slick for Sega.

It's essentially Mario Brothers with a lion. It was a pretty cool game.

Anyone remember The Sega Channel?

It was a game cartridge, hooked up with a cable outlet and you had to subscribe with it via cable provider.

Then you turned on the game and through the cable got to play hundreds of games.

Oh snap.. Ecco the Dolphin was great
I actually picked up the Sega Genesis Pack II for PS3 a few weeks ago mostly for the Ecco, and Streets of Rage series.

I played for about 45 minutes and haven't touched it since But it makes me happy that I can go back and play these games at any time.
