Just heard we're scouting Glennon tomorrow

On ESPN radio they were talking about Mike Glennon and how he could be a sleeper. They said a handfull of QB needy teams will be watching and that teams could pass one of the top 3 in favor of taking him later.

Saw this tweet about it too.

Chris Steuber ‏@ChrisSteuber
I'm told that scouts from the #Bills, #Buccaneers, #Chiefs, #Jaguars & #Seahawks will attend the #NCState, #Clemson game on Sat. #CFB #NFL

Well, if Pioli is here, I can definitely see some Star Leuteliebust in the first and this asshole in the 2nd.

Oh no. I just realized; Pioli has the theme song of the Swedish Chef, he looks like the fat, little scientist with glasses, and now he's found his old pal "Beaker" in this mother****er...

We're ****ed.

Do emus squawk? What kind of noise do they make?

It's probably something weird like chirping.

Is it possible they are scouting Glennon and Tajh Boyd? Just came across this article from Nov 15:

http://espn.go.com/blog/acc/post/_/i...l-draft-waters

Could Tajh Boyd Test NFL Waters?

You will not find Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd on any list featuring the top underclassmen for the 2013 NFL draft.

Yet Boyd made headlines earlier this week when he told reporters in Clemson that he was thinking about the possibility of leaving school early to try his hand at the pros.

Boyd said, "It’s up in the air. It’s one of those deals where all you can do is control what you can and take it from there. But at the same time I don’t think there’s any place better than here."

Coach Dabo Swinney tried to put to rest any speculation when asked for his response to Boyd's comments. With the season still ongoing, the last thing Swinney wants is any distraction concerning his star quarterback.

"I'd be surprised, very surprised if he's not back here," Swinney said on the ACC coaches call Wednesday. "That's not something we're really focusing on. There's a time and a place for that. Right now it's just about trying to finish the season."

He was asked again later in the day by local reporters and gave his general thoughts on when it makes sense to enter the draft.

"I don’t think any of them should leave unless they're a first-rounder," Swinney said. "I've been doing this too long, and I've had too many guys sit in my office when they realize that a million dollars isn’t a million dollars. When you pay your taxes and buy a car and pay your agent, you'd better go to work. Unless you're a legitimate first rounder, you'd better come back."

Boyd ranks second in the nation and first in the ACC in passing efficiency with a 172.0 rating. That would be a Clemson record if the season ended today. He is trying to become just the second quarterback in school history to rank in the top 10 in the nation in passing efficiency. Mike Eppley was third in 1983 with a 146.0 rating.

He also is on pace to break school records for single-season passing yards, single-season total offense yards and single-season touchdown passes.

Boyd was my #4 ranked QB this year assuming Bray and Murray stick around another year.

Trent Dilfer has a Glennon-boner!!!

Trent Dilfer ‏@TDESPN
If you like Flacco, you will LOVE Glennon. MG is far more developed than JF was and has as an equal or slightly better skill set!

We had Mike Glennon @Elite11 this summer & he blew us away with graduate level understanding of O & ability to work deep into progressions

Mike Glennon WILL be the sleeper in the draft. Ceiling is VERY HIGH & skill set is very transferable to NFL. #MoreArmTalentThanRest

He's got 3rd round developmental prospect written all over him, and that doesn't interest me at all.
If slapdicks like Blaine Gabbert, Christian Ponder and Ryan Tannehill can go in the first round, then so will this guy.

He's got better size than all of the prospects. That and his strong arm will have some stupid GM in love with him. Probably Pioli.

I trust Trent Dilfer to evaluate NFL talent as much as I trust Charlie Weis to evaluate proper portion size.
