Exactly. Dorsey/Reid have not said otherwise. For some reason many here have assumed that not to be the case and that started a shit storm. We just have to be patient.

The good QBs don't care. Look at Smith, who is practically brokedick at this point, with Cam Newton the last two years. Look at Randall Cobb in GB with Rodgers.

For ****'s sake - EVERY GM says they take the best player available. And it's amazing how many guys happened to get the 4th ranked guy on their entire board in the 2nd round...who just so happened to fill a need on their team.

True. However, I'm sure that has been the case with many positions. When did OT become the value #1 pick? After QB's started getting crushed.

Theres an argument to be made with every position in relation to the #1 pick. Irregardless, it seems that the consensus on CP is that there are only three positions that warrant the #1 pick.

1. QB
2. Pass Rusher
3. CB

In that order. So, it is possible that Dorsey/Reid agree and also possible it could happen.
