Alex Smith: "Felt like couldnt get a single call"

It's unlike smith to blame officiating but it's been pretty evident that we just don't get the calls that other teams get especially during crucial moments. This is probably why kelce wasn't targeted much in second half. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...a-single-call/

The offense is shit most of the time

The defense is shit most of the time

The special teams takes it out of the end zone when they should kneel

The play calling is shit most of the time

Yet we are already 3 pages deep on bitching about calls.

Make the play or GTFO.

Football's biggest issue today... refs are really judges and the current game is just one step away from figure skating.

You can't tell me the best TE in the league has not engaged a hold or PI from the defense all year, no one call tell me that.

I have a problem with the picking and choosing of calls. I have a problem with the way every game is officiated, people who have been fans for 20 years can't explain rules.

I can't remember the game, but I remember the announcers cheering on a play where Kelce got laid out 20 yards down the field on his route. No flag.

Well Alex, I'm sure bitching about it publicly will definitely help out with getting calls in the future.

Correct. The timing of the calls pretty much decides the game. It is no longer Team A vs Team B. It is Team A + Refs vs Team B + Refs.

What do I expect? How about cover to the best of your ability without committing flagrant penalties that nobody in the stadium could miss seeing.

I expect things to be called evenly, I also had no idea breathing on a snapper was a penalty, does this mean if your snapper doesn't ever put his head up that means you can't attempt a block?

Once again more rules that no one understands.

Anyone in Nelsons spot is going to cover the guy that way and hope they get away with it, that dude could literally touch him and create seperation.
