During the pregame show of the 2006 Thanksgiving game vs the Donkos they said that white on white was Lamar's favorite setup, and being that he died that week they got special approval from the league to wear that kit at home in his honor.

Despite that being (probably) the best game I've witnessed in person, I still get nervous and sweaty when we wear it, because we've been trash the other times we've worn it.

I read an article a few years back about a study that some university did on Olympic teams on the psychology of Jersey colors. It showed that there is a slight, but undeniable correlation between wearing dark/black and or a solid deeper color to winning vs wearing light or alternating jersey colors. Therefore, of the available kits we have, red on red is statistically the most successful.

(We need to make an all-black jersey combo)
