What's a moment you stopped and thought "this is rad af!"?

For me it was that time I was at Coachella same year as Noel Gallager and found myself front row center at the main stage seeing Noel Gallager front row center at Coachella.

I took a moment, let it all sink in and thought it was rad af.

This obviously isn't the concert I attended, but it's a perfect example:

Went to one of his shows that same year in Missoula, MT. Was an awesome experience I’ll never forget.

I saw AC/DC in 2010. I was center stage at the end of the catwalk. Towards the end of the show, I was buzzed, and Angus Young comes out during his solo. He's so into it - that he is spinning and I am getting covered in his sweat...at the same time, there is an unmistakable smell of Mary Jane. It was so loud that you couldn't hear yourself for a couple days afterwards. That moment is one I'll never forget.

I took the Fam to Aruba this past January for a week. We stayed at the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino - adult side. It was amazing. The Renaissance has a private beach you can go to by boat and spend the day. We did that, reserved a cabana, and had a great time. so much fun. Great people, beautiful island and water. We are considering going back this coming January, if Covid isn't back in full swing. This will be the last year I have the full Fam in tack before my oldest Son graduates college Spring of '21. The resort you stayed out sounds awesome, btw.

Aruba has definitely been on the radar. Some island retreat is ideal for sure. We have no kids so we can afford it. Hell if I just save $200-$300 a month the next 5 years that should cover it plus some. Ha! I appreciate the suggestion!

The first time I saw the Chicago skyline...It was around January 20, 1984 and bitterly cold, with high temps in the single digits (https://www.wunderground.com/history...DW/date/1984-1)
I had taken a bus from KC, alone, to visit the University of Chicago as a prospective student. I remember Lake Michigan being frozen along the shore and that long, long collection of skyscrapers. To that point, the only major league cities I'd ever seen were KC and the Twin Cities.

Another odd moment of amazement was the first time I learned about Gopher and spent several hours hopping from one networked site to another on it. I remember reading about the Joe Montana trade and the first World Trade Center bombing on AOL, so maybe I first used Gopher a little before then, maybe 1992, but I'm not sure.

Chiefs/Patriots in the playoffs a couple seasons ago... right after the long review of the punt, Brady throws the pick and then Mahomes throws the touchdown to take the first lead of the game.

It was on my end of the field and the place was just nuts... after the frantic screaming and high-fiving, took a few seconds to soak it in. Despite the outcome, the Chiefs had arrived, competing with the best of the best on a big stage.

Watched the game on TV for the first time a couple nights ago (minus OT, of course) and maybe didn't quite realize how crazy that game was in the 4th quarter watching it live.

Been a lot of them. When I did my first solo in an airplane. When I completed my first round-trip as a paid commercial pilot. Seeing Robert Plant and Jimmy Page in concert. Seeing the birth of my first godson. My first game at Arrowhead, which was the DT58 7 sack game. And so on.

Much more recently, when I caught my first trout over 32 inches/14 lbs. I can still remember just about everything about that day, the bite, the hookset, the fight, and finally landing and getting my hands on that monster. On any gear it would've been an epic moment, but to do it on fly fishing gear made it that much more impressive.
