He was pretty solid for a terrible Falcons team before leaving them for mental health issues. If he gets right would you take a chance?

Well, look at all the stud WR's in the league right now.

Then look at all the stud LT's. There's a significant difference in blue chippers out there.

WR's, lately, have been in abundance.

Of all the LT's taken in this past draft, Slater seems to be the only one really making any noise.

Not sure why you wouldn't want him though. The Chiefs throw footballs to the #2 and #3 of Byron Pringle and Mecole Hardman.

Talent wise, you absolutely want him.

The price will just be too high. Significant draft compensation and an extension.

Use the money to extend Brown. Use the draft picks to take a WR (early).

LT is a bigger need than WR2. We’re really talking about getting our third option to take some pressure off Hill and Kelce. Even a 800 yard, 6 TD type of WR would be a huge get. We can find that at the end of the first round.

Hell, Detroit seems to have found a super solid WR in the 4th round with Amon-Ra St. Brown. No reason we can’t find someone similar early.

Brown is at least good enough at LT and a great run blocker. Bad idea to let that slip away.
