Apparently Hardman isn't doing to well.

[Rosenblatt] I’m starting to get the feeling that Randall Cobb will play a bigger role in this offense than expected. He’s been getting more reps with Aaron Rodgers than Mecole Hardman recently. #Jets

Corey Davis also retired today.

There's a difference in using him as a legitimate WR and just using him as a gadget guy like we did.

Mahomes would get constantly pissed at him for not being where he wanted him to be and Mahomes is hardly the type of guy to get mad at teammates. Of course Rodgers would have the same experience, except he'll force issue and get that guy off the field.

But, Maybe he had other things going on. We don't really know what was behind that decision.

When he played, he gave it everything, and was never a negative for the team. In fact, he made a lot of big plays for the Chiefs while he was in red-and-gold. hell, last season he was far and away the most productive scoring WR on the team. Basically the only WR that was scoring in the RZ with any consistency.
He had other things going on other than earning a solid 2nd contract??

GTFO.

Hardman is a track star trying to play football is the issue. Not exactly a natural at the game or meant for it other than he’s certainly fast as hell.

Hell, I have no idea. Point is, no one actually knows why he didn't show up to that practice. Maybe he had a family thing. Maybe he decided to rest instead. Maybe he wasn't invited. Maybe he was abducted by aliens.
