Times Ours guys move to KCSN

This is pretty cool. Hopefully they do some cross-pods with the other KCSN guys.

And it's not like they can ever expand their brand outside of the metro with a name like Kansas City Sports Network.

Seems like a bit of a bros club who were unhappy in their previous roles and decided to start a circle jerk.
There's a big gap IMO. People don't like Teicher and they certainly don't like the Star anymore. Petro is old and tired and 610 blows.

They did this at Arrowhead Pride and didn't get paid and now they're doing a solid job in their own right. I just like it bc it's all Chiefs all the time and these guys are Chiefs fans. It's also former players. They aren't Adam Teicher's who are bland as hell with no investment to the team.

It's not just KC doing this either. DNVR for example is doing the same thing in Denver and it's as big of a success.

There's a reason ESPN and local sports radio/journalism is failing. The smaller grassroots companies like KCSN are taking over.

I like the lab guys and times ours. Jeff Allen and Mike devito have a solid show. I’m really just not a fan of bJ and Tucker being on together ones a mega homer and the others formed all of his opinions from twitter.

Do KCSN podcasts generally have terrible audio quality? Compared to the Athletic pods, the first episode of OWGs is almost unlistenable - seems like the bitrate was reduced significantly. I wouldn’t recognize any voices if I didn’t know who they were.

They did it as a live stream (and I understand that's the plan moving forward. It's probably a bit compressed compared to the post edited approach at The Athletic.

Nate has access to the team as a member of the press, and the stuff Seth puts out on his Substack and brings to the show is top notch. As a trio they’re very entertaining.
