Is it time to replace Arrowhead with a dome?

The cold, crappy Dec/Jan. KC weather doesn't appear to provide any real home field advantage anymore.

At least the fans wouldn't be so miserable in a nice climate controlled facility. No more thousands of no shows or leaving at halftime on bad weather days.

If you’re cold, drink more whiskey.

Families who come together for the holidays to watch sports are going to buy several tickets to one of the least family friendly events in the city from a cost perspective and a kid perspective? Or... say a couple has season tickets, they're going to tell the 5 people staying with them to buy tickets instead of just watching at home?

You thought that was cold? Dude, maybe you shouldn't attend games after September.

I used to have bad winter boots as well. I upgraded and cold feet are no longer a problem.

I wore tennis shoes yesterday and never had cold feet. You are either doing something wrong or you are just a cantankerous old fart who just has to find something to bitch about.

Most families can’t afford for everyone (everyone being all who are in town for the holidays) to go to a game all together, not with the cost of these events today. Watching sports together as a family typically means tv time. Weather has little to do with it.

Families watch sports at home together. Dome or outside stadium, the majority of people don’t want to go to games during the holidays.

Technology is too good now. You don’t have to worry about weather, close up replay, parking or any finances watching in your own house.

That’s what’s stupid about the “90’s Arrowhead was better than today’s” crap. Of course it was. They didn’t have shit for TV compared to today.

lol...cold. I haven't seen grass or dirt since before Halloween, because it's buried by ****ing snow and ice. Sometimes you can see the street, it just depends on how well the street has been plowed.

I spent the majority of the day since 7 AM outside, and the high was only 23. Other than a little windburn on my face, it wasn't bad at all. You just need better winter gear. Layers, layers, layers.

I'm pretty sure the fans broke another noise record yesterday. I wasn't there but the fans seemed pretty loud on TV. I was at the donk game though and it was an awesome atmosphere. If the baseball stadium is moved to a different location I wouldn't argue if they built a state of the art dome on that location I really enjoy Arrowhead though so it I'm good with continuing on with games there. If you can't 40 degrees you should probably just stay home and watch it on TV.

The cold is fine; there are solutions, though, to keep the rain out (and keep guys from blowing up their knees.)

I think the only solution is for you to just stay away from Arrowhead and let real fans take your seats.

Do we have a bigger percentage of knee injuries at Arrowhead verses domed stadiums? Like the one in Indy?

We really need to strive to be an injury-free team like the Chargers.
