No-one in their right mind can tell me we haven't faced the much tougher schedule and offenses. Stafford carrying an elbow injury and hadn't played a game since the superbowl...Pickett making his debut, Tannerhill no number one wideout etc etc.

We'll see what transpires on Sunday.. but imo from top to bottom Tampa are more talented than Buffalo and if we perform against the Bills like we did against Tampa it's gonna be very interesting to see if Buffalo can cope with that. We'll see.
Tampa clearly doesn’t have the scoring punch of Buffalo right now, but yeah, there’s no doubt KC’s faced tougher offenses overall. And they had Baltimore in shitty conditions (I liked how the commentators kept using that as an excuse for Buffalo early in that game, as if the Ravens weren’t playing in it too).

The only other solid offense they faced was Miami, and they didn’t exactly dominate. Miami scored a TD on almost half their possessions, even despite Tua’s head injury in the first half. They just didn’t have many possessions because Buffalo’s offense dominated TOP. I’m relatively sure KC’s D could keep them out of the endzone on half their possessions too.

This “we’re in another stratosphere no matter who you add” bullshit is exactly that. You’d think they’d have learned a little humility after KC hung 42 on their “#1 D” and moved the ball with ease much of the night. Would’ve been 50+ if not for missed kicks and drive-killing penalties.

Could they shut down at least one legit offense before spewing this crap? When’s the last time they did that or came close? 42 vs KC last year. 33 vs Tampa last year. 34 vs the Titans. Even Wentz’s Colts hung 41 on them.

But they’re great at dominating backups.

Remember every year when the 49ers and Cowboys would meet up for THE GAME OF THE YEAR. And then the Packers were in the mix with one of those two. And then it was Colts vs. Patriots for a while.

Now it's us. That's pretty cool.

8 total first downs.

and one of those TD “drives” was a 6 yard drive (they got the ball at the 6 yard line off of a fumble.

That was Miami’s offensive day. They had a grand total of 2 scoring drives where they had to drive the field. Two.

I'm glad some people here are making this point. I'm not going to lie: I think the Fish are vastly overrated because of the Reek hype, and yet managed to beat the Bills by putting up a mere 21 points.

Taking this further: The Ravens, who have the most porous pass D in the league, held the mighty mighty Bills to 23 points, and quite honestly should have won that game. Of course, it's important to note that this iteration of the Ravens seems to like to choke games away, blowing 17 point lead to the Bills and a 21 point lead to the fish....

Now the question I ask: is our defense any better or worse than either of those two teams, especially given that our offense will move the ball and take some pressure off of them? At least statistically speaking, the Chiefs Defense is better than both of those teams at the current mark, and they managed to keep the Bills point totals down, even if the Bills got their yardage.

Finally, I'll also point out that the Bills have turned the ball over 9 times (compared to just 4 for the Chiefs) which would seem to point that ball security is an issue for the Bills....it just doesn't get talked about because the Bills are still something like +3 in margin, mainly off the strength of 8 INTs......

Not to take any credit away from the Bills, because they are an excellent team, but they aren't some unstoppable force that is going to plow through everybody on their way to hoist the Lombardi.....they are very beatable and can be contained, and the Chiefs are plenty capable of doing just that.

Bills had 10 starters out against the Dolphins and still had 500 yards of offense. Look past the score - context matters.

This is true. Bills seem to fumble every game. They play very fast and loose with the ball. Can’t do that against KC or the Bills will get blown out.

I think a lot of the comparisons are pointless... in years past, the Bills were hell bent on running up the score on teams while the Chiefs were admittedly playing vanilla, and come head to head, it didn't matter.

The Chiefs were obviously going through the motions against the Colts and for the first part of MNF and we all say that doesn't matter, yet we're talking about Bills/Dolphins and Bills/Ravens like it's the best representation of their team...

Agreed. Who knows what will happen. Both teams have laid some eggs and both have looked unstoppable. These are the two best teams in the league I believe.

So what? Fish QB had a freaking concussion for crying out loud....nobody cares.

And as I glance at the stats for the game, the Bills had Josh Allen, Moss, Singletary, Diggs, Davis, Knox, Crowder, Kumerow on offense amongst others,
Edmunds, Milano, Elam, Rousseau, Lawson, Von Miller, Basham on Defense.....

Seems like a team that has Super Bowl aspirations had plenty of firepower to overcome the mighty mighty dolphins that put up a whole 21 points while simulatanously allowing over 500 yards of offense....get out of here with that B/S....

***P.S. I will again note that I believe the Fish are vastly overrated as well, but that's probably just me***

Mahomes vs Allen.

Will this go down in history as the greatest Qb rivalry of all time?

Excellent points, it's far too easy for us to look at all the Bills warts in previous games but to hand wave our own.

Well, there's a reason the Bills are favored to win in Arrowhead this week, and it seems to be of the belief that the Bills are some type of unstoppable force merely going through formalities on their way to hoisting the Lombardi.

So as a result, I most certainly am going to look at their loss to a rather mediocre Fish team, and their struggles with a decent but not lights out Ravens team (that has the worst passing D in the league by the way) as indicators that they aren't that unstoppable at all, particularly against a team more than capable of doing just that.

That forum is an absolute cesspool. Some of the worst "football discussion" on the internet.

It's weird, because almost everyone who has attended games in KC or hung out with Chiefs fans says they're welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, etc.

Whatever the case may be, the absolute worst of the Chiefs fan base seem to gather on Chiefs Planet. I cannot stress what a garbage den that place is.
