In November/December, I was hoping Self would just stick him on the bench for the freshmen for good. Now he's a stalwart anchoring this defense (and has even developed his offensive game into nowhere near the liability it once was). The transformation has been unlike anything I've ever seen on KU in such a short period of time. Very glad we've got one more year with him.
