I wasn't confident in this KU team getting to a Final 4 much less winning a title and that was before Self went down. Its nice for us that we can use his health as an excuse, but there were just too many warts on this team.

Winning this conference outright was quite an accomplishment in itself.

I'm just glad we have a program where winning in the 2nd round of the tournament is just another day and our coach won't embarrass himself on national television by taking his shirt off.
