That's WILD...I swear I would've said they blitz way more than that lol.

Ha - thanks! I'm actually really looking forward to the Kelce/Hamilton matchup. Kelce is definitely going to get his, but Kyle Hamilton is a next level player and I hope he's on our team for the next decade. He's 6'4 and is great in coverage, so I think that'll be a great battle. Kelce is definitely going to get his, but if there's any safety in the league that can match up with him it's Hamilton.

Let’s break that trend.
2020 our O-line was decimated against the Bucs and the Coach's kid about killed a grill drinking and driving the night before they were leaving for the SB.
2021 We beat ourselves with 3 seconds left in the half to go up 21-3, and that unraveled us in the 2nd half.

Different year, different team, different story. We may get beat by the Ravens, but it won't be because we beat the Bills...

As a Maryland Chiefs fan, welcome to the board. I’m expecting a great game, regardless of how it ends.

You remind me of most of the Ravens fans at work - cautiously optimistic unlike some of the yahoos who are calling in at 105.7. *sigh*

Totally nervous for the game, solely because of Patrick Mahomes. The KC defense is good, too, but a lot of teams have good defenses. PM is just a generational talent that plays his best football in the playoffs, as you well know.

Think it will be a good game, and likely within 4 points or so either way. I've seen some people talk about Andrews with mixed reactions, but one user pointed out that he thinks Andrews will actually mess with the chemistry (paraphrasing). I TOTALLY agree. I love Andrews, but likely has been fantastic, and we've been playing the best football since 2019 since Christmas, so I'm a bit nervous to mess with that.

I said this after Jackson went down in flames, pouting on the bench as he was rendered ineffective.

There's a big difference between a running quarterback, and a quarterback who can run. Lamar Jackson and The Ravens ran 88 plays and put up 12 points.

Jackson attempted 59 passes, only threw one touchdown, but also threw two picks and lost a fumble. 12 points on 59 pass attempts should tell you all you need to know about Lamar as a QB when the lights are the brightest.

Lamar is still that guy.

If these receivers can get their shit together, and thus offense can perform, and actually cash in the redzone instead of settling for 3, Lamar will buckle under the pressure.
A lot to interesting (bad) takes to unpack here.

Let's start with why you're using arguably the worst game of Lamar's career, 4 years ago, as the comparison game. Is the body of work this year - or the playoff game 3 days ago - not probably the better barometer? The titans defense wasn't even that good in 2019. They were 12th in points allowed and 21st in yards allowed. We just sucked all around and Lamar was awful. But, again, four years ago.

Also, the Lamar buckling under the pressure narrative is tired and just untrue. Pressure seemed pretty high on Christmas against the 49ers and then the next week at home to secure the one seed against the Dolphins. I can't remember but I think he did pretty well? Pressure was high this past week to get the haters off his back and advance to the AFCCG for the first time and he had 4 TDs.

I think a frustrating part as an opposing fan on a board is when you just read selective memory nonsense. I don't think it's productive or fair to just talk about the worst game of Mahomes career (2020 SB?) and pretend that game has literally any impact on the one about to be played this weekend.

Reid knew the Dolphins/Bills had no pass rush threat. Hence more of the playbook was available. It's no coincidence why so many deep plays materialized. We haven't had a game like last weekend in a long time. He will be prepared for what Baltimore's pass rush can do. I expect quicker developing plays.
