They kinda always had a plan. you cant keep him with the same fish out of water thing for 3 seasons in a row. That would have got more tired. I remember people bitching in season 1 and 2 that he's to much out of water and he needs to get in there more and do some things.
Shows like this and in alot of shows, it just doesnt matter people are not going to like the way it goes. Go to the NBC website before the last week or so, and you will see how people are "JUST" interested in the Chuck and Sarah aspect. Then you have people that are just interested in the Buy Moore shenanigans and people like me that just like it all and as long as its funny, quirky, goof, serious all in one. I dont know if we are getting a 4th season, but if we arent, at least we got 1 more. Any show that starts off on NBC is doomed for failure. They just have absolutely no one watching that channel. They have another tv show called Parenthood which imo is a damned goood show and its doing what chuck did before the time change and since its on NBC, its not going to be to much longer before its at a 2.1 as well. |

No thoughts after this glorious episode?
Seriously, the returned to season 2 form. Pure awesomeness. Also, Jeffster going lowkey was not only welcome but made them even more poignant. My only concern is whether or not they're writing Awesome and Ellie out for a bit.

I'm going against the grain on this one. I really didn't like it. Way too 'cute' for my tastes. Half the time I was thinking "if this is what they're like together, then please break them back apart". I did like how they managed to screw everything up going rogue, and it ended the way it should have, but most of it was just cringe-worthy to me.

I loved Yvonne's southern cover. It was one of her best acting pieces in the show.

lol, you keep them apart people white, you get them together, people whine. After all most 3 years of blue balls for Chuck, how could anyone expect any different. How were they supposed to act? lets see, a new couple being together after almost 3 years of hardcore lust. hmmm.. naw, cant be that they are lovey dovey.

I have to say...
This season has been hugely disappointing to me. Sarah has been a wet blanket of such proportions that at times she became downright unattractive. Chuck's constant whining and questioning of everything he was asked to do got real old. I just... I just haven't liked it. But last night was fun like last season again. I don't know what the secret ingredient is/was, but it was the first episode this season that I truly loved, and was sad to see end. |
