Blah. Shit happens. The good thing? Per KenPom KU is preseason top 5 again next year like every year. This program is like a well-oiled machine. Right back at it next year.

I'm not sure what you're suggesting here. You lay the blame at Self's feet, so does that mean KU should move on from him? Whom should they hire? Remember, they have to find somebody who will be better than Bill Self, a man who is 1-1 in the two championship games he's been to with KU since 2008.

That doesn't seem very logical on KU's part to move on to a different coach.

I disagree.

As Self proved, it's the school, not the coach. He had some really bad losses until striking gold in 2008.

I think they could easily move on and not miss a beat, if not improve.
