Harold Reynolds wasn't on there. It was Floyd and Mcgrane who hate the Royals. Plesac and Reynolds would agree with Yost

Volquez did intentionally hit the Jays' best player to start the game for no good reason, which started the whole thing. So yeah, I'd say that's a fair reading of this.

Isn't it amazing when no one gets hit in the face everyone gets all mad because they thought he was aiming for his face and if someone does get hit in the face it automatically becomes sad and the pitcher didn't mean to do it

The ball that was near his head was a damn changeup. Eddy's changeup kind of floats around and almost up at times. The first hbp looked like it could have been a purpose pitch. The one up near his head did not. Eddy even kind of pointed to his chest afterward as he and Donaldson were talking.

Infante almost got beaned earlier in the series.....should he have lost his shit also?

Those guys are up there hanging over the plate, coming out of their shoes on every pitch. Every now and then, you have to keep guys honest. I get it when we're hot with the bats and someone gets one in the ribs/leg/butt. That's baseball. The second ball that was high and tight was a changeup, it wasn't a purpose pitch.

Hitting Esky probably shouldn't get a guy kicked out later in the game. When you have a guy get hit, you did what Zobrist did and put one in the seats. That's the best response.

IDC what Ned said, that first HBP on Donaldson was intentional. Volqy was making up for the Moose HBP late in yesterdays game. The other HBP from Madson wasn't intentional. The following HBP to Esky was intentional and Sanchez needed ejection. This stuff is just part of the game. But I didn't see the Royals crying about it. Donaldson acted like a baby.

Had no problem with any pitch a Royal threw after the one in the first inning to Donaldson. The first one was clearly an unnecessary beanball (which precipitated the whole conflict) and it came out of nowhere. Volquez started this today.

Rationalize it however you want. Volquez threw a beanball at the other team's best player for no good reason to start a game (he hilariously said after the game it had to do with Donaldson "pimping" HRs, not anything to do with Hendriks unintentionally hitting Mous the day before). If that doesn't happen, the rest doesn't.
