You need to be 100% if you're going to challenge that. The timeout is worth way more to them than the 9 yards in that spot on 1st down.

I still don’t understand the logic of going for 2 in that situation, see a lot of teams doing it now. It’s just weird. Even if you miss the extra point you could always go for 2 on the next one.
