The K-State game, especially re-watching it, is not fun. Unless you're Nigel Malone (is that guy on a PS somewhere?).

I don't even care if we mostly dink and dunk it, but they gotta make it work, which has been pretty hit and miss with a lot of 3 and outs so far. The threat of the deep ball backs the defense up so the short stuff can actually work.
It's not JUST Alex Smith, there are other problems that have been discussed, but he doesn't just get a free pass. Peyton Manning hasn't turned the ball over this year, either. Does anybody think we can beat them going 3 and out for an entire quarter of play? I get sick of the dink and dunk, too. But I'll happily take it if they get it running consistently. |

Marcellus is a textbook homer. There are no bad Chiefs. Had we drafted Smith and our first 3 games he played identical to what he has done, marcellus would defend it to his grave.

That's the Marcellus we all know and love.
Make an ignorant comment. Be proven wrong. Move the goalposts. Keg's right, you have an underlying personal issue with a handful of us. You argue posters, not posts. I would have taken 10 seconds to actually check to see if the bullshit you were spewing was factual - but you didn't care, hoping no one would call you on it. Good work. |

but seriously, Geno has clowned the True Fans already...
and he is so much better than Fisher - while taking on 100x the responsibilities as QB - that is embarrassing...like 'holy shit' embarrassing

All this, "who expects AS to be a different QB than he was in SF" talk is hilarious, considering it's EXACTLY what our HC spent all summer saying. |

Read the op. We have the best starting field position of any team and aren't doing a lot with it. I bet we have the most punts in opponents territory of anyone. FFS we have a really good defense that is built to protect a mistake or 4 without having to pay too severly for them. |

I suppose it'd be like that for Mingo as well but....

And I don't believe Joe Flacco is an appreciably better QB than Alex Smith. Do I think he will likely win a SB? No. Not at all. But I definitely think the last 2 post-seasons have given us a couple of data points that suggest that yes, Alex Smith absolutely can win a team a SB.
