That's an interesting stat. To bad the ref blew the call on the Fasano TD play. That one play probably would have added 10 points to Alex's QB rating and would have quelled some of todays Alex bashing. In the end I thought Alex had a decent game against a top D. 67.6% completions with 7.1 avg about 28 rushing yards with a TD and a 72.2 QBR. And most importantly another win.

You are completely wrong here.

Here is why. Aaron Rodgers first two years in the league, he ended up in the IR. He would of been destroyed by Mike Nolan, who played up to the media that Alex Smith was a pussy because he couldn't play through a MAJOR SHOULDER INJURY.

Aaron Rodgers, is a cocky hot head who would of imploded in Ryan Leaf fashion had he been stuck in SF.

Not even with a separated shoulder, the Head Coach then calling the injured QB out in the media while having a separated shoulder (which ultimately required two surgeries)?

That's only part of it, of course. One of the many "Alexcuses."

My guess, notwithstanding that being drafted by the Niners was Rodgers' dream in life, probably not a day goes by that he doesn't thank his lucky stars that the Niners passed on him.

I wanted the 9ers to take Aaron Rodgers, luckily for him they didn't. We took Alex and he has handled it all pretty well, where I think most guys would have given up.

Did anyone see how pissed he was towards the end of the game before the play to Bowe... where he dropped the slant to ice the game? He was in the face of one of the coaches. I wonder what that was all about. I think it was Chad Hall that had to calm him down.

Also Alex completed passes to 8 different guys including one to himself on the day!

I don't like how they're using AJ Jenkins, whenever he's brought in it's almost always a deep shot and the other teams know this. He was bracketed by 3 guys yesterday on a deep route and last week he was as well. They need to figure out how to get him one on one and use his speed, like Andy did with DeSean Jackson.

No, his best season was 05 before the tear than he started to decline in a bit from his elite 05 season before falling off a cliff.

That's actually slightly impressive.

I'm glad Alex wasn't a total dumpster fire this week.

This is why we made that trade!
