I had it on Direct TV on Channel 794 and on my Espn app....

But Buehler said it was blacked out in Scott City...

Yeah, it was on Directv but blacked out in Kansas. I had to use the online option, which sucks a lot of times.

Kansas sophomore basketball player Carlton Bragg Jr. was charged with misdemeanor battery after he was alleged to have struck his girlfriend and pushed her down stairs during an argument, according to the Douglas County District Attorney’s office.

According to prosecutors, Lawrence police responded to a 911 call about 1 a.m. Friday from the 1000 block of Emery Road.

Bragg was arrested by Lawrence police on suspicion of domestic battery against a family member. But the charge was amended. Cheryl Wright Kunard, assistant to the Douglas County District Attorney, said in a release that “Domestic battery cannot be charged under the circumstance because the relationship does not meet the statutory requirements.”

Bragg was held without bond until his first court appearance Friday in the ProTem Division of Douglas County District Court. Bond was set at $500 and Bragg was released after he pleaded not guilty.

“We are still trying to gather information,” KU coach Bill Self told The Star. “But it is a charge which we take very seriously.”

Said KU associate athletic director Jim Marchiony: “We are aware of the situation and in the process of gathering information and once we have the facts we will act accordingly.”
