It's a combination of personnel changes, injuries, and adjustments. As Mahomes goes, so does the offense. Eric Bienemy had virtually nothing to do with it.

And while the offense last year improved in the playoffs, compared to their struggles in the regular season, they never consistently reached their 2022 level of performance.

See going 16 straight possessions without scoring a TD.

Is that replicable this year without the defense playing at last year’s elite level?

Again, what evidence do you have that Bienemy is that motivator? He's done it literally never - in fact, he's achieved the opposite - outside of KC.

We’ll see.

This year's ceiling for the offense is higher.

Last year, adequate tackle play and terrible receiving corps.

This year, tackle play has literally destroyed plays at the snap of the ball. Our offensive weapons are light years beyond last year. Addition of Kareem Hunt, Juju, DHop, and Worthy.

Worthy is so wide open he should have nearly a thousand yards already, but the line play is killing us.

If DJ Humphries comes in and solidifies LT, which is merely to say that the penalties, and instant kills from that position are eliminated, then he's quite possibly the best mid season acquisition by Brett Veach, in a growing list of fantastic additions.

With Hollywood returning on Christmas day to get 2 regular season games of reps, if the line play is solid, the league is in serious trouble this post season.

The drop-off in defense won't be as bad, because if things are going well with all these weapons, teams shod be back to playing catch up, or trying to go score for score with us.

Nobody is going to care if Spags units are giving up 21 points a game if we're scoring 28-30+.
