The race for the #1 seed in the AFC
With Buffalo losing to NY today, if we beat Tennessee tonight we will be tied for 1st place in the AFC but Buffalo owns the head to head tiebreaker.

It’s going to be interesting to see the energy KC comes out with tonight.

People who are sure that either the Bills or the Chiefs will run the table, have apparently never watched football.

Actually, we are getting too worked up over who will capture the #1 seed. Regardless of which team it is, the Bills and the Chiefs both have less than a 50% chance of going to the SB. Sure, I'd rather play at home, but in the end, I would rather play just a little bit better in the playoffs than have HFA.

The Bills OL didn’t look too great after Morse went out. That’s a lot of concussions for one guy, so it’s hard to imagine him coming back.

I look at it this way:

As long as the Chiefs take care of business (beat the 4 teams we should beat to close the season), then the Buff-Cincy game could be a win-win for us.

If Cincy wins, we’re the #1 seed.

If Buff. wins, they basically lock up the one seed and lock us into the 2 seed as Cincy would have 2 more losses than us. If that’s the case, then we still get our bye (against the Faid in the last game of the season). Let the starters rest and make sure everyone is healthy for a deep playoff run.

Yeah, we may have to go to that shithole at some point, but is anyone REALLY afraid to play Buffalo up there? Especially after what we saw tonight against Miami?

Bring ‘em on . . . . . . at our place or theirs. Don’t care.

It's all about having that BYE. Granted, the Chiefs destroyed the Steelers last season and had no injuries in that first game, but you won't always get off that lightly.

The home field part doesn't matter. We're 2-2 in AFCCG. Arrowhead is not some impenetrable fortress. Neither is Buffalo's stadium. Home advantage doesn't mean as much in sports as 20 years ago. It's overrated. The fans don't play the game. The refs don't necessarily help the home team. You don't start 14-0 just because you're at home. If the Chiefs play Buffalo, the victor won't be determined by the location of the venue.

The bills staff throws thier players to the lions they literally don't give a ****. They played Allen, and other guys that probably should have sat a week. If Morse wants to play he will. That team is playing like a desperate teenage girl to go to the SB this year because they know after this year they are ****ed cap wise.

Correct, the bye is what changes the odds significantly. We're not going to play a team as bad as the Steelers every year in the WC round. It could very easily be the Chargers this time around and that will be a dog fight.

Bills haven't secured anything yet, but they took a huge step toward that tonight.
