From personal experience, I can honestly say the only fans that I have personally encountered who were dickheads were hands down Pats fans during their 20 year run of domination.

I mean, I know Raiders fans, and they can be idiots, but no worse to me than anyone else.

Donkey fans are pretty humble these days, but lurking underneath that is a seething hatred for the Chiefs. Does that make them bad fans? Nah, just pitiful idiots who root for a shitty cheating franchise.

Bills fans. From what I see, they do not seem like people I'd like to hang out with. I dunno, dildos thrown on the field, jumping on to burning folding tables at tailgates...just a bunch of morons really. Oh, and their team ****ing sucks.

I've been going to a draft party the last 3 years, and there are 3 Bengal fans always there. They are funny as hell and pretty cool guys, so I can't say anything bad about them.

In the end, I like NFL fans. Every time I go to a Chiefs game I always walk around the parking lot and hang out with the opposing fans. I've never had a problem, just some good natured ribbing and usually a (perhaps sincere, perhaps not) "good luck" before the game.

I have more problems with college football fans. That's for another thread I'm guessing.

How are we defining "worst"? Is this the worst people to sit among on game day as a visiting fan? The worst people to be sitting next to on a plane? The worst people in general?

Culturally, I'm a westerner. I don't understand a lot of stuff that happens east of the Mississippi. So some insulated culture east of the Mississippi is going to more challenging to deal with, like Pittsburgh. When I think of Pittsburgh, I think of that really annoying reporter or whatever who is always angry, or that weird commentator with the nasal voice. I figure most Pittsburgh fans are angry about living in Pittsburgh and when they talk a little spittle flies out.

At a football game? Obviously Raiders fans. The signals from their ankle monitors interferes with my phone.

They are so easy to deal with. All you have to say is
"You know they are going to **** it up somehow. You are from Minnesota"

And poof. They fold.

If someone here comes at me as a Chiefs fan, I say "Come talk to me when Minnesota gets an NFL team."

Minnesota sports fans are the most abused in the US. But I like it. It should be called the land of 10,000 false hopes.
Yes, I would like to see the wolves or twins win. But not the vikes.

The reason I have Viking's fans on this list is because EVERY sports bar I have been in to watch a game, the douchiest, loudest, and most clueless fans are the packs of Vikings fans.

They are always at every bar in every state.

The second most douchiest sports bar fans are the Steeler's fans. So many in every sports bar.

Vikings and Steelers fans most represented all over.

Opposing teams cut off alcohol sales at their stadiums earlier for Raiders games than any other team. IIRC, at Qualcomm, the Chargers would sell booze until the start of the 4th quarter for any game except if it was the Raiders, cut the stadium off at halftime. Teams voluntarily make less revenue cause the risk of crimes is just too high with that particular fanbase.

Raiders fans are dumb, obnoxious, violent and criminal. And that makes them the worst fanbase in the NFL.

I live in Central PA so I've had long exposure to Eagles and Steelers fans. I MUCH prefer Eagles fans. They aren't Philadelphians with that loud attitude where I live. They love their team a lot but also know other teams can be good too. Steelers fans think they are like the Globetrotters and every other team is the Generals. Every year all the time.

Not surprisingly the Chiefs are the most popular team among adolescent girls. This offsets their ranking to be amongst the worst fans.

1 raiders (any fan base that thinks it’s cool to have a rap sheet a mile long can go f themselves)

2 patriots (the most insufferable bastards on the planet for the Brady years)

3 eagles (Boo’d Santa clause)

4 charger fans (raider fan’s cousin)

5 bronco fans (STILL will tell you Tom Tebow was a talented QB)
