Vegas Reccomendations?

I figure the CP would be good for Vegas recs.

Staying at the Cosmo the 2nd week of December and options for good places to eat are just insane. Down for something pretty pricey for one night but really open as to what we will want to try.

What is a go to for you?

Next time I go to Vegas I'm seriously considering staying at Gold Coast, they treated me wonderfully there my last Vegas trip.

Even Harrahs NKC has a $20/day resort fee.
I've stayed a couple of times at a small casino off of Fremont Street and didn't get charged, but I'm sure some of them do. The casino that I stayed at was definitely for low rollers, but I'm not a gambler and it had a decent restaurant and ludicrously cheap room.

It was Main Street Station. I had to look it up. If you look it up, you'll likely lose respect for me, but I was just passing through and it was actually a pretty decent hotel.

These things sound more expensive than the resort fee.

Don't try to make them sound honorable. I will challenge you to a duel.

I wouldn't care if they were transparent about it, but at the time I was using hotels.com (side note: never use hotels.com for anything because they're horrible) and there was no notification of "resort fees" until you checked out.

One of the best (and most expensive) meals of my life was at Emeril’s restaurant in the Venetian. That was years ago, don’t know if it’s still there.
Just a getaway with the girlfriend but Mon Ami Gabi has been so universally praised I will have to try and get a table.

Authentic Chinese is like being in the special effects room of a horror movie.

A group of us were there last week and we enjoyed the Erotic Heritage Museum and the Lost Spirits Distillery. And I love the margaritas and Margaritaville. Not exactly what you were looking for but thought I'd share nonetheless.

It’s actually basically free. You can status match Wyndham Rewards to Caesars Diamond, and you can attain status at Wyndham if you have status at any other hotel chain. Basically if you have any hotel credit card you can be Caesars Diamond.

Whenever I retire, I've set a goal to start learning all of this stuff with rewards programs. It seems useful.

Going back in late August for a retirement party of a coworker.

Anyone have more recs they are liking these days?

Not sure where we will be staying in this time around the Cosmopolitan last time was incredible. Really good service and so much to enjoy the view with balcony was great. Though it certainly feels better suited towards couples this is going to be a group of guys I imagine we stay somehwere down market I am just going with the flow.

Had a decent dinner at Sinatra at the Wynn. The restaraunts at The Wynn seem really top notch.

Love the sushi and the walk up place at the Cosmo that even had a sushi rolling machine.

This time around have my eye on Tom Colicchio's Heritage Steak at the Mirage anyone have experience?

There is some Korean restaurant near MGM Grand that I always end up at around 2:00 AM. Maybe it’s because I’m always super blasted but I really enjoy it.
