Meanwhile... Over at the Colts fan forum

Considering where we were two weeks ago, this is truly one of our worst losses ever. Probably the most embarrassing.

So much to say, no energy to say it.

Frank has presided over slow starts and some epic collapses. Not a good combination.

In two weeks, Ballard and Frank have gone from some of the most respected people in the league to a punchline. The stench from this will linger for a long tjme.

I will never feel sorry for Colts fans. They have had two of the greatest QBs to ever play (Unitas and Manning) and just happened to get the #1 pick when Luck came out. Far too many losses to that franchise, to include the Harbaugh game and the loss with Smith. I have zero sympathy for that fanbase.

Seriously. I don't even understand how it's possible. My son is 2yrs old and if he doesn't support the Chiefs when he becomes of age, I'll just stop feeding him. He'll learn.

Oh, he'll learn.
My 3 year old insisted all season his favorite team was the Vikings. He likes the purple and says the helmets are “neat.” Any time I told him grandpa and I have been Chiefs fans for life he’d say “they aren’t my team, I like the Vikings!”

I bought him a Chiefs shirt for Christmas and he’s at least admitting he likes the Chiefs now.

But he still saw a SB before my team did.

The Colts are without honor.

Manning and Luck. By doing ****ing nothing. They weren’t truly terrible. They were just irresponsible reeruns who didn’t have their all world QB healthy.

They were gifted the greatest pair of #1 overall QBs in history. They deserve years of pain and anguish.

Seems like them missing the playoffs helped lower that cost. Wasn't the trade built with condition of extra picks for a playoff run?

I just looked it up. A playoff appearance and 70% of snaps played, or 75% of snaps played regardless of playoffs moved the pick from second round to a first. He already played well over 75% of snaps, so the Eagles get the first regardless.

The deal centered around snaps played. Wentz was basically healthy all year, so the Colts will indeed owe the Eagles their 1st round pick.

They are richly deserving of decades of pain.

I still love that Luck's final game was a playoff loss at Arrowhead.

Colts should have traded for Carr over Wentz. He and Reich would have been a great fit together.

Sucks for them.

They probably should have tried to get Phyllis to stick around for another year. With him at QB they really might have been dangerous, although Rivers always did find ways to do Rivers things at the worst possible moments. But he's so much better than Wentz you can't even compare the two.
