I think Lewis would be a great choice. Now, if we can just get Carl to listen to the fans. I getting damn tired of dreaming.

Bob Dole can't see any change in the organizations culture as long as Peterson is still in charge.

As long as it's not Martz, Bob Dole doesn't really care.

Anyone think they should not change the offense? I doubt the veterans want to learn a new offense 2 years before retirement.

They're already changing the offense since Larry Johnson has been starting. More physical, more downhill running. Besides, Roaf and Shields could be done after this season anyway.

Bob Dole hasn't looked around this morning, but is this anything more than bad morning talk show speculation?

But the culture's already changed twice in the Peterson era-from Marty and his '3 yards and cloud of dust' to Vermeil's high flying offense/32 defense.

And with Marty, they tried several different offensive systems, including the 'chunks' offense, the west-coast offense, the play-action Pendry type offense, etc.

I don't see a reluctance to change, really. I just see that none of it has quite worked out.

both marty and DV are great coaches IMO. the common denominator is
CP! Both DV and Marty never could assemble the talent on both sides of the ball. Marty never could get the talent on O and DV could never assemble enough of the right players on D. DV got to the super bowl
both in Philly and StL and Marty has a good chance to finally make it in
SD!

can CP! problem solved!!!!!!!!

Why not Tim Lewis. He's a smart DC.

why in the world would you keep Ganz as special teams?

outside of a couple of fantastic return years for Dante Hall, we've had nothing but trouble with special teams.

our coverage units have sucked during his entire tenure.
