Yeah, that was the one thing that bothered me about that movie. We've been watching the package for two and a half hours. She could have had the decency to open the package and let us see what was in the package. I mean gee whiz, Tom lost Wilson, but kept the package, it obviously had something important in it. I've referenced it before, but one of the great lines on the old Partridge Family show occurred once when they were trapped and cold somewhere (bus breakdown or something).

Their manager, Reuben Kincaid, remembered how to make a fire from his army days. He had them all gather up some wood in a pile, and then he thought for a moment about the next step.

"Okay," he said, "Now...who's got a flame thrower?"

Depending on where and when . . . my guess would be exposure. You can live a few days without water; but can die over night if you're cold and wet.
