Sounds like No talks are scheduled between NFLPA and the League.

Owners will have meeting and vot on current NFLPA proposal on Tuesday possibly into Wednesday per Mortenson Espnnews.

Well I wonder what's going to happen to all the cuts from tonight.

And people on here bash on other sports. This is turning into a huge joke. I think it's time to go or get off the pot. We can deal with the uncapped year later. At this point we're going to have the draft before free agency.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports there will not be any further talks between the NFL Players Association and the NFL. However, NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue has agreed to take the latest proposal from the NFL Players Association and present it to the owners. It is believed the NFL owners will meet and vote on the proposal Tuesday, March 7.

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports the St. Louis Rams were unable to reach a new contract with WR Isaac Bruce and they released him.

I'd say the chances of the owners passing the NFLPA proposal are zero. This is just a delaying tactic by the owners to buy some time before free agency starts. I expect they'll find a way to get both sides to the table before Wednesday. Not that I think a deal will get done.

ESPN's John Clayton reports the St. Louis Rams may not release WR Isaac Bruce after all due to the recent extension of the waiver deadline. Bruce was a cap casualty under the previous deadline, but the Rams may choose to remove his name from that list and continue to use the extra time to work out a new contract with him.

Yeah, I was thinking "Ok, it seems if the Rams didn't submit the paperwork to the NFL office, then it isn't official. What isn't known yet is what has been submitted & what hasn't been.
