What will our record be and will LJ holdout?

I get a strange feeling he will not be around when summer camp kicks off. I hope the chiefs find a team who will pay him and give us some picks for next years draft. We are rebuilding and the whole team looks to be gutted for next year. Defense seems pretty young (only thing I look for improvement in next year). Offense seems to be in shambles with a unproven QB, and no O-line. I don't see us winning many games in the next year. So why keep LJ. We will get draft picks and probably end up picking in the 10th spot or higher. Lets go 4-12 and pick up a 1st and 4th for LJ.

Brennan for the next QB of chiefs and two good O-linemen in 2008. Realistically how many wins will we have next year.

That's no lie.

For my part I hope your team is as competitive as Lucifer himself. No one wants to play the kind of teams Oakland has fielded recently. Pushovers don't get anyone ready for the playoffs.

I will give you props once but not after TC.

You must not have been born in denver. Too many thoughts for them.

If memory serves, the 49ers got y'all ready for the playoffs.

I haven't been shy about admitting the Broncos' failure and your success last year. I've even corrected Broncos posters who accused the Chiefs of "backing into the playoffs."

Your team won the game it had to win. My team lost the game that would have made the Chiefs' win meaningless.

Credit where credit is due. The Chiefs earned their spot. The Broncos blew theirs.

Eh. As usual, we blew it once we got there anyway.

I grew up in Cleveland, but the fine citizens of that city denied Art Modell a new stadium. He moved my Browns to Baltimore and promptly won a Super Bowl with them. I enjoyed that, even though most Browns' fans were angry.

During the absence of my own team I couldn't give up the NFL, so I tried to become a Pittsburgh fan. That attempt was doomed to failure.

Since I'd been living in Denver for a while, I tried following the Broncos, and I ended up being okay with that. I worked for one of the local papers once upon a time, and I had gotten to go to the games with a sideline pass to do my thing.

Somewhere along the way the city of Cleveland tucked its tail between its legs and decided to build a new stadium (which was all Modell wanted in the first place). They got an expansion team that won the right to call themselves the Cleveland Browns, but there was no continuity in the players, the coaches, or even the front office.

My Browns wear purple and black now, and Matt Stover is the last holdout from the orange and "seal" days.

I love the game. I follow a team. But my loyalty to any particular team runs about as deep as Art Modell's loyalty to the Cleveland fan base.

Hey, it's a business.

We got an elite college WR and completed our DL on our first day.

On our second day, we landed the best kicker in the draft and an all-purpose RB.

What more do you want?

If you draft well, it doesn't matter where you are in the order.

They tried to trade LJ.

More predictions?

NOT Likely... IF anyone has done their homework, they would know that MR Buttsex Football has never coached a team to a record better than 10-6...

So at best the Chiefs will go 10-6...... But I have a feeling MR Buttsex Football will pull a rabbit out and take the Chiefs to a season stomping record of 6-10....

You have to score points to win in the NFL....

I'm of the opinion that Chad Pennington was holding Herm back. I'm also of the opinion that his New York Jet teams weren't talented enough to do better. He certainly didn't have players the caliber of LJ or Gonzo.
