WHAT ****ING DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE IF YOU ARE GONNA PLAY A 34 YEAR OLD QB THAT STRUGGLES? Dipshit...

Then you'll surely agree it makes no sense to waste the opportunities to find out if Croyle has the tools and mental toughness and decision making to be an NFL starting QB.

none of this changes the fact that Hamas is a bigger dickbag than you, even if lumping in the Huard Dumbf@ckary.

Think of it this way. If that was Horrid there, that ball more than likely would had been intercepted, becuase of the arm strength.

I'll give you that LJ was being blanketed by a defensive player, but really, two things stands out. Is LJ really wanting to "play?" Another one is what do you think Curlaid and Hermroid have been beating into his head every week? If Croyle ends being no good...it's gonna be because of the way he was coached. That is to throw on the flats at all cost.

Nobody's gonna buy tickets just to watch Damon Horrid, Hootie, I can assure you of that. I know I wouldn't be. I would however, buy tickets to watch Brodie play. I'm all for a 5-11 season if it means that Brodie gets experience. Denver didn't do too hot at the end of the season when Cutler replaced Plummer, but that will pay off for them in the long run.

I already knew and accepted the fact that Croyle probably will struggle and get alot of turnovers, but really, is it any different than Damon Horrid right now?

Of course QBs tear up defenses in prevent, which is exactly what Croyle did, and what any good QB is expected to do. He can't control the situation he's given, he can only take advantage of that situation. It's laughable that you're trying to turn that into a negative.

Once you're in the red zone, things change, especially against a defense trying to preserve a shutout. You now have 7 DBs within 20 yards of the LOS. Completing passes against that is very difficult, especially TD passes. If you think the Jags weren't giving it their all, trying to preserve the shutout, then you've obviously never played football. Shutouts are a huge deal to a defense, and they will work VERY hard to maintain it.

The TD was far from meaningless. It prevented a shutout, and offered yet more proof that Croyle should be leading this team, not Huard.

I can see how you would consider it meaningless, though. After all, it does suck to have your life's work discredited time after time after time...

My only argument is, we're 1/2 game out of first to the Raiders, who aren't going to win our division...

If Croyle is going to turn the ball over 5 times a game, I rather stick with Huard...

Huard didn't play bad today. Of course everyone on this board is going to place the blame squarely on his shoulders, but that's because of their vendetta against the guy...

The center and the right side of the line were awful, Huard delivered a lot of good passes in the face of pressure SEVERAL times...

The fact of the matter is, we faced a Jags defense that is one of the best defenses in the NFL, and LJ ran for 11 or 12 yards...

How are we going to win games when we can't run the ball? We don't have Manning or Brady, we don't have a QB on our roster that will win us games...not Huard, not Croyle...it's not going to happen...

We need a rushing attack, plain and simple...personally, I'd rather stick with Huard because Croyle is in a lose-lose situation until we find a way to run the ball.

Let's not forget that Croyle drove the team to a TD today. Once you're in the red zone, there is no more "prevent" - the defense has run out of field. He completed a long pass, on the run, at the sideline - which the "prevent" is designed to prevent. He scored a TD against 7 DBs. Writing off what he did today "because of prevent defense" is incredibly short-sighted.
Not to mention Croyle looked at the left corner of the field before finding Parker in the right corner. You could see his head swivel. You never see that with Huard. And opposing D's will have to respect Croyle because of his arm strength and the safeties can not creep up like they do with Huard. That will allow the running lanes to open up. Lots of good things start happening with a competent QB.

Have you seen Cutler play?!?!?! He's BETTER than Brodie, he's the SAME TYPE of player as Brodie, and he's awful. They lost 41-3 AT home...

Jay Cutler isn't that good...he's a gunslinger with a passive attitude, just like Brodie Croyle.

And I'm never up for a 5-11 season when we have a 9 or 10 win team. That's stupid.

Oh Hootie can it, with this offensive line we are not winning anything signficant so we might as well find out what Croyle can do.

Problem is, Croyle haven't thrown an INT thus far, so why not give him a chance. Again, Huards' QB rating for today was a 68. That isn't very good. Also his decision making has been very poor. Really, his throws to Larry Johnson or Kris Wilson is really annoying, especially out to the flat. It's a no wonder why we're struggling.

Jaguar Defense was 28th in the NFL on rush defense before coming into town. Gee, wonder how they did that, only giving up 10 yards rushing? Ah, probably becuase they do not respect the passing game enough, along with the fact that they know that Damon is gonna be tossing it on the flats.

Huard is no position to help the Chiefs in the long run, especially in the QB position, and the franchise future. Why are the Chiefs drafting QB's for, if they have no intent to play them?
