LJ's current trade value?

During his contract dispute prior to the '07 season, the rumor was that the Packers were offering a 1st rounder for the tippy-toeing, easy to tackle former pro-bowler.

Any thoughts on what kind of compensation LJ would command now?

I'm guessing a 2nd rounder from a desperate team if we were lucky.

I bag on him because no RB is worth what we pay him. He was a product of the line and nothing more. Period.

Honestly, at this point I'd trade him to anybody who'd simply assume his contract obligations, and even that's not going to happen.

We should have shitcanned him last year for picks.

Die, Carl.

As soon as Larry learns how to pass block better than my grandmother, then you can start comparing him to Priest.

Frickin' pathetic. Close your bibles and shut your ****in' mouths.

Everyone bitched when Larry started complaining about the playcalling and throwing fits last year. Well guess what? LARRY WAS RIGHT.
Eeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaasy Sally Sensitive. LJ is playing like shit. Just like the rest of the team.

I'd agree with that. I think you put a decent line in front of him, he can be productive. Maybe not all-world since the 2006 marathon, but productive, maybe even worth some of his paycheck, but like milkman said, he doesn't make things happen on his own. You get him in the secondary and somebody might die. But he's not going to get there without a hole.

You're a dumb son of a bitch. What the **** good is a running back in today's NFL if he can't pass block?

Now? Not much.

If you want to get picks for him, better hope he ends up having a big year and then trade him in the offseason before he hits 30.

Yep. Hell, remember how awesome Derrick Blaylock looked behind that line? What did he do after he left KC? Not a damn thing. LJ is a dime a dozen RB who cant run without gaping holes. The lack of O-line excuse is BS, Jamaal Charles is running behind the same line and has almost twice as many YPC...as a rookie.

We still had a decent O-line in '06. Waters was a beast that season, we still had Will Shields, and Casey Weigmann was good that year too.

It was decent, yes.

Larry got EIGHTEEN HUNDRED ****ING YARDS BEHIND A DECENT LINE.

He is NOT the product of a great line. That's just stupid.
