Last week I switched to Shotgun and Synthesize for my pre and post workout drinks. I was using creatine and twinlab ripped fuel... and having two scoop Body Fortress Protein shake afterwards with Almond Milk.
I have also replaced my morning shake with a syntrax nectar fat/carb free protein shakes in water. I have dropped four pounds in a week. I knew I was taking in about seven hundred extra calories a day with the shakes, but, I wanted to make sure I didn't starve my muscles. I have shaved almost 500 of those calories back off. It is amazing what just 500 calories per day will do for you... Now, I know that a week at 500 calories per day only equals one pound. But, the shotgun has really amped my weight lifting.... so, I am able to go heavier and longer.... thus... burning more calories. Anyways, today, did 40 minutes of cardio.... Food intake, two pieces peanut butter toast, glass of milk, protein shake. I am out of fruit now as well as nuts.... so, it looks like an all vegetable snack day...... Carrots and tomatoes...oh, and I have a grapefruit.... so thats good. All in all, I am satisfied with my progress.... but would still like to be bigger, leaner, faster...... Who doesn't? |

Oh, last night, I did pull ups, lat pull downs, lower cable rows, 90 degree shoulder inside rotations, 90 degree outside shoulder rotations, shrugs with barbell, preacher curls, reverse curls, And, two other lat machines that I can't think of their names.
Tonight is an off night for church. I am actually dissapointed that I can't go workout. |

The mere thought of eating a doughnut with a pepsi litterally makes my stomach turn a little. I guess that is one good thing about a diet.... if you stick to it.... it does change your cravings. |

Breakfast (every morning since I was 20): Cup of cottage cheese and 2 microwavable chicken breasts, sometimes with A-1 on them.

Scrambled eggs and a piece of bacon. I would rather have yours.

You're motivating me. I've been on the two scrambled eggs and a piece of ezekiel bread kick for the last year. I may have to start going a little fancier.

My buddy that's really into fitness had me eat a piece of Ezekiel bread...it was definitely a bit different to say the least.

Heh. You actually do get used to it. "Regular" bread is sort of boring and bland to me, now. I don't limit myself to solely Ezekiel, but I tend to use it as my "daily bread" (haha).

Before lunch snack:
1 scoop ON Casein Whey 1 cup fresh strawberries 1 tsp olive oil 200 cals Really hit the spot. I was craving something sweet after reading that damn bear claw apple fritter thread, and this totally took away my craving. That was about 4 hours ago... Just had lunch: 5.9 oz grilled chicken breast 1 slice Pepperidge Farm no HFCS 15 whole grain bread, toasted (so freaking good) 1 tbsp mayo 340 cals Next snack will be 1/2 apple, 3 whole walnuts and 3 oz of cheese. Dinner is currently in the fridge, marinating... 6 oz sirloin, 1 tsp olive oil, kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper 1 small sweet potato 1 cup broccoli |

Only 2 more weeks on this diet and then I get to go back to my regular 3000 cals. This 1500 and 1200 shit is killing me. |
