WTF were the parents of these little girls thinking?
Heard about this on the radio a few minutes ago. Apparently the video has gone viral and the rest of us are feeling a little better about our imperfect parenting skills.

It has nothing at all to do with how much time these little girls commit to dancing. It has everything to do with what they are wearing and the sexuality they are projecting in the dance. It's not difficult at all to allow them to dance to their fullest without looking like little hookers. 8 and 9 year old girls can be taught to dance without the need to hump the air repeatedly through the routine while wearing lacy lingerie.

Quite sexualizing your children......

It hadn't been mentioned in the thread so my position is that it requires more than a mere shred of attention to uncover that fact. I appreciate you paying the close attention and being there for me though. What song did they dance to? If it was more age appropriate, then I don't have any problem with this dance routine or the parents.

Edit: I see now that the name of the song has been mentioned, just so I'm not falsely accused of not paying attention again.

Who knew I was such a loose and permissive dad? I really don't see a problem with this dance, including the costumes as long as the song is appropriate. I guess I didn't really notice any overly sexualized gyrations. Maybe I'm just not a pervert.

Possibly. But the fact that there are less dangerous alternatives doesn't change the situation though. No different than saying that a murderer could maybe be placated by playing violent video games instead of actually murdering people. I doubt that really prevents any murders though. Or in this case, it doesn't prevent pedophiles from ogling little girls dressed in lingerie.
