I went out to the game again today. 4-0. Early in the spring the word was this 32 game stretch was the easiest early schedule in the league. I tend to agree, save for the I
Indians.
I think we find out what the team can be in the next 30. A's, Yankees, Tigers, Indians, Cards. It gets significantly tougher from here.

Olney is generally right but I swear I heard him called Hose-mer by Royal announcers in spring. I could be wrong too.

Impressive. They could have saved some money in his third year by waiting a few more weeks, but the Royals said to hell with money, they are in second place, still within 5 games in May and desperately need him. If Hosmer stays up, he will be a Super Two

It's somewhat sad that we've been so conditioned to think about a billionaire's money.

Glass said that he cannot wait to see Hosmer's debut in person, right?

As if Hosmer was really going to stay in AAA for over a year crushing the ball like that.
Scott McKinney's been driving most of that. He's been a relentless dickhead about it. Like the entire franchise could collapse because we called up Hosmer 3 weeks earlier then he would've liked.

I like that site and think a lot of the posters are very clever and funny. But this anti-Hosmer stuff is batshit insane.

Terrible decision. Leave Kila in until 200 or 250 ABS again. He faced adversity when he came up to aaa and adjusted to it and raked. If kila ends up getting better u gget trade value for hhim and then bring hosmer up middle of June or 4th of july

I think he's going to be a superstar. Hopefully he doesn't press too much early... he's gonna get Greinke/Gordon type attention.
