I would love to get a top 5 QB. That isn't happening anytime soon. Maybe next offseason, but I doubt it.

The reality is that with decent offensive line play, decent defense and WR's that didn't drop the ball or fail to adjust to the ball...

The Chiefs win.
At this point I would love just an average QB. I don't consider a game manager an average QB. When you have to protect yourself from your QB its time to wake the **** up.

meh

I was so angry at the team I tabbed out after we went down 21-3...I knew we were done

wasn't mad at Cassel (I already know he's mediocre at his very finest)

I was more mad Crennel refuses to ever blitz (ever)...that we let Matt Moore look like a HOF'er (really, I'm sick of this Hali or bust pass rush...every other team can blitz but we just invite QB's to pick apart our shitty soft zones)...I was mad about 2nd and 12 PA passes...about terrible playcalling...

it was bad...really bad...and I mostly blame the coaching...terrible schemes...terrible playcalls...terrible game plan..

god when we are bad we are TRULY bad...

Cassel continually showed little to no mental fortitude. He didn't call many audibles (that I could tell), he didn't put his head up after avoiding a sack, he didn't take appropriate opportunities to throw it away, and most importantly didn't show more composure when he knew they'd start blitzing consistently.
Yup.

Not that this is close to any excuse, but I told my buddies this week that Miami was a lot better than their record. They completely manhandled New York last week for 3 quarters. Matt Moore and the resurgence of Reggie Bush are nothing to sneeze at. I have a feeling they'll be a tough out for a lot of teams in the second half of the season. I compared them to the 2010 Buffalo Bills.

that could have worked had we lost against San Diego

today...

the defense gave us ZERO...NADA...NOTHING

they only thing they did was take our crowd out of the game early

terrible defensive effort...and I don't entirely blame the players

what kind of ****ing game plan was that?

I approve this message. But of course dumb fools are going to try and continue to blame him for this loss. Go Chiefs!

Blake Griffin couldn't adjust to Cassel's balls.

The whole team is utter shit. While Cassel is the largest nugget of corn in the pile, using him as a scapegoat for the rest of the untalented hacks on this team is a laughable deflection classic of CP. The reality is the OL and DL are among the worst in the league, while backup quality players starting elsewhere generally bring down the play of those who at least belong on an NFL field, albeit usually in an inflated role. The most evident failure week in and week out is the corners, namely Flowers and Carr, getting CLOWNED by all kinds of receivers, including no-name scrubs. The odd great game from either is the oddity among constant embarrassment.
