This one still hurts
Christmas Eve supper with the family sucked. I expected to get let down and as a Chiefs fan I'm used to it but this one still stings so many hours later. I know any AFC West team is gonna get their butts kicked in the playoffs but it would've been nice to go into the final game with something to play for still. I just ask myself when is it finally gonna be our time?...

GD the leadership of this institution for not having the competitive fire to "play" just enough rookies and backups "for a look-see" and allow the fans to figure out what they're doing. Tell me the Rams and Indy have made an all-out effort to win... I remember when the GDMFing King Carl could at least win most of the home games. These clowns can't even do that.

I don't think a leadership team has ever been as inept as this one. And ownership needs to have a little honor and fall on their sword.

If you guys wouldn't have been hit by the injury bug I seriously think the Chiefs would have won the AFC West this year even with Cassell behind center....

I am a big fan of defense and I don't know if you have better tools on defense as the Raiders overall, but I am 100% sure you guys get the most out of them...

This Raiders team has blown more leads than I can count and I am happy for the chance to compete for a playoff spot but I am not very happy overall with this team.

You guys flat ass put it on GB and I was worried about the sweep....

@DaKCMan... It's not affecting my time with my family...I'd never do that. But it's getting old! REALLY old...

@R8ers... And the injury bug might just be because they weren't conditioned properly. Who knows, maybe not. But when you have an asshole, and a golfer (!!!!), like Todd running the show, it's pretty clear bugs of all sorts are going to afflict you.

So it just gets old thinking that we'll ever have a "year" when you know the man who's ultimately at the helm is actually more dumb than all the shit his family has hired over the years. Clark's just the seed that gets to run this circus next. We've gone from Kim Jong-il to Kim Jong-un... They'll always do just enough to rape the world of some coin, then go back to their holes and do nothing!!

I was really angry. Then sat down and said to myself "it's only a game. Don't let it make me grumpy. Especially not at Christmas. Go play with the kids and kiss your wife."

I then had an awesome afternoon.

Man I hate the Raiders. Why them? Seems like every year we have an ugly, close game, the raiders basically hand the game to the Chiefs, then Chiefs let them win.

While I tend to agree, I also know (from my day and my injury) part of the compensating process for a stretched ACL is to build the hamstring muscle. While if can replace an ACL fully, it's a huge part of stabilizing the joint from forward slippage.

So I won't A) pretend to be a doctor, nor B) say that ACLs aren't safer from a rigorous preseason conditioning program, but I know it doesn't help. I think once you start practicing fringe coaching, you're opening yourself to a lot of criticism.
