What Does Matt Cassel Do That's Good?

Trying to install some objectivity into Chiefsplanet but i'm sure this will turn into a bash Cassel thread.

4 seasons as a starting QB 2 were pretty solid years. He's a better QB than Palko, Thigpen, Croyle etc. So what is it that he does good?

What the hell are you talking about? This has nothing to do with joy of the heart - it has everything to do with not being a complete ****ing imbecile or finding complete imbeciles to be funny. This guy makes Wickedson look like a Rhodes Scholar. Do you spend all day chuckling at fart jokes when you aren't reading Thigtard's posts?

And comparing UP to that dildo is a major insult to UP. I like UP. I can have an actual conversation with UP. Thigtard is like a yipping rat dog that never shuts up. I'd stuff him in a microwave if I could, but ignore is the next best thing.

He used to post "real" conversations all the time. He's a pretty damn smart guy, actually.

His decision to revert to childish antics is because he gets such a ruse out of it. And the fact that it works so often is what makes him amusing.

From 70 yards and 3 picks in the only playoff game he has been in, to hitting the crossbar on a 35 yard hail Mary, to missing his own head with his hat...it's really hard to come up with ANYTHING he truly does well.

Going into his 4th year starting in KC and with the crazy amount of talent we have on this roster, this team SHOULD be a superbowl contender if Cassel plays like he did in the middle of 2010.

Seriously.

During that stretch, he was stepping up in the pocket and delivering strikes that hit his receivers in stride.

This team has far better weapons than 2010, too.

Baldwin - full offseason healthy and first without the lockout. Last year at this time, Baldwin was staying at Cassels house...they should have some chemistry. No homo

Breaston - Reliable target that knows how to get open and has some speed.

Hillis - a really good receiver out of the backfield and above average blocker. Also, a battering ram that wears a defense down over the course of the game.

Winston - pro bowl quality player replacing a bottom of the barrel RT.

Hudson - Casey was good, but he starts the year at 285 and by years end he
had dropped to 275 or less. That got us beat in pass protection right up the middle quite a bit. Hudson should be a bigger version of Casey for us.

Charles being back.

The defense should be able to be high on the list of forced turnovers and scoring.

The pieces are in place for Matt to have a breakout year.

If he does, this team would be hard to beat.

What, are you his mom? I'm glad you think the puppy piddling just off the paper is cute and all, but I obviously have higher standards when it comes to humor.

And I haven't been to a modern art gallery in a couple of decades, but generally, I think it sucks. I guess you get a big laugh at the dogs playing poker painting.
