I actually don't have a problem with how he's being used.

Right now he's on pace for:

280 carries for 1,152 yards

92 catches for 852 yards

16 total TD

That's 2,004 total yards.

I've been as critical as anyone of late, but Fisher looked significantly improved in this game. In pass pro, he was downright competent, in fact. He had a hold and blew his assignment on another play, but really, he held up pretty strong in that first half.

It does seem like JC doesn't get the ball as much, and then you look at the stats and it's like...huh...whattaya know...

I think the offense is coming along, maybe slower than we'd like but they are getting better. They may never "catch up" to the defense but if they keep getting better December will be a great month for the Chiefs...leading us into multiple January games...

I agree. Give the kid some time. Unless he's a complete liability (and given the play of the entire line, I don't see how you can single him out) you keep playing him and getting him better.

I thought the OL and run game would be a little further along, but so far, I am pleased with JC and his production. He occasionally goes to the ground too easy, but sure, I get that he isn't a 230 lb power-back.

I'd like to see JC work a few per game of those flat to wheelroute plays like we saw last game in the 3rd quarter. This way, Smith has the option to hit him if wide open early, and if not? JC should be able to get deep separation from most covering him. Have Sherman run a block and release from that side as well (weak formation).. have the TE also do a chip block and release to help the RT... both can help keep Smith clean as well as be a late pass option if all else fails.
