I'd say that shit is not fair when that woman can find a man who wants her, but then I have to think of the kind of man that would want her.

But good heavens, she was eating a 10,000-calorie-per-day diet for years, and she's been over 500 pounds her entire adult life. I have a really hard time feeling great waves if empathy for someone who has let it go for that long. I hope she turns things around, but I have to admit after seeing her in more than just a still photo, I'm skeptical.

And I have to say that the daughter, Charly, should be extra careful that the same thing doesn't happen to her. She's looking very heavy for being only 18.

There comes a point with enough inactivity and enough calories where your metabolism shuts down. You just don't have any. She's probably not able to burn any calories at this point, so everything she eats will either become shit or fat.

I imagine that happened to her. They said at one point in the video that she cut down to 1200 calories per day and was exercising as much as she could, and still only lost 20 pounds in a month.

Five pounds per week is a lot to lose, though. I think a normal person can lose two pounds max in healthy weight loss. Over the course of the year, she could lose 250 pounds.

5 lbs a week is a lot to lose, but I have to imagine she was taking in at least 5000-7000 calories a day normally. Dropping down to 1200 would mean she should lose at least 30 pounds through diet alone in a month. Me thinks she was cheating somewhere.

Who the hell continues to enable that behaviour? If that woman were my sister, daughter, wife, mother, roommate, whomever, the pantry would be bare until that lady got off her enormous ass too earn her food. Asked had somebody supporting her eating habit for 30 years.
