Easy to say, but that carries some risk as well. What if he gets hurt? The gain from getting through a year with no trouble and putting up good numbers is probably minimal compared to the risk. It's not like those questions about his off field behavior are going to disappear or anything, and it's not like he has much to prove on the field or physically.

How hard is it for you to understand that while he MIGHT find trouble anywhere he goes, he's more LIKELY to find trouble where the SOURCE of his trouble resides? Thus making him a higher risk for teams in his home state.

He wasn't getting his pot at Mizzou from Springfield. He was getting it from a former teammate (who was booted when the team found out what was going on).

Point is: If he's going to smoke pot, he'll smoke pot in Missouri or elsewhere. Same thing with trying to become a drug kingping, if that's the concern.
