I love Watkins this year, so I wouldn't have an issue with that. I think we as Chiefs fans know how good Watkins can be when healthy after the game he had last year against us.

yea Watkins has the ability to take over a game a couple times a season and I'm not sure anyone else in the range of 12-24 ranked in fantasy has that. I know he's not consistent but when Watkins is dialed into the gameplan there's no stopping him. It's a complete boom or bust strategy but if I pair him with some consistent WRs or RBs it might be okay.

Remember this little nugget(for any type of FF format) because it has landed me in a lot of playoffs and $$.

"You are only as good as your supporting cast".

Your WRs are only as good as the QB throwing to them. Just ask Fitgeralld this after Warner retired.

Your QBs are only as good as the WRs who can get open and catch as well.

Your QBs,WRs and RBs are only as productive and good as the O-line allows them all to be. It really is true that it all starts in the trenches whether running or throwing.

Bottom line: Don't fall in love with the Big Names IF the supporting cast is in doubt. And don't dismiss those lesser teams/players on the definite rise with easier schedules because they will produce big time for you.

I wouldn't consider Robinson a reach, I'm high on him though. I am in this exact scenario in a non PPR league and I will be taking any two of my top 13 players:

Gurley, AP, D Johnson, Zeke, Antonio, Julio, Odell, D Hopkins, Gronk, are the top shelf then it gets a little less clear but L Bell, L Miller, A Robinson and Dez. I'm taking whatever two are left from that group. You could put AJ Green in there too but I don't love him this year as much as years past.

Just FWIW, here is the 1st round of my recent draft:

A. Brown, L. Miller, D. Johnson, J. Jones, T. Gurley, ODB, E. Elliott, Dez Bryant, J. Hill, D. Freeman, D. Hopkins, AP. L. Bell and AJ Green round out picks 13 and 14.

Gronk went in the 2nd round.

Melvin Gordon went in the 5th. I was shocked at that one and would have taken in the 4th but really needed to go with a WR.

I had to quit 3 leagues (one of my own creation) this year.

And the one league I am still In (no prize) I forgot draft day.

I've never done that. I've been playing FFB since I was 17 and I've never ONCE done that.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I think it is time to rethink your drafting RBs the first three rounds strategy...
