I started eating spam as a scout in Italy. It was never meant to be totally awesome, it was meant to sustain.
And if cooking it differently makes it better, I'm all for it... Before "Rotisserie Chicken" was a popular rub for chicken we were using it on SPAM... We learned how to rub it with olive oil, put plenty of the "powder" on it, then direct "fry" it over a camp fire. It worked. |
