What I am pointing out on your post, is once again, we make this so black and white, like A.Smith is the only variable wether the team will have success or not, where Kirk cousins, a QB we hold in higher standards as being better than smith, led the Skins to a losing record at 7-9 last season, also 1-5 in the division, and lost to the 3-13 New york giants.....

Jay Gruden is a really good coordinator and that's the same system that turned the Rams around last year. They lost both receivers but things were still looking really good last year up until their Oline got totally decimated. Smith has some sort of strange affect on people, even knowledgable football people, that makes them feel sorry for him. They think he is being unfairly criticized and, therefore, feel compelled to defend his honor even though the criticisms are legitimate.
