Love it and love him but also can't resist...

"Where do I sign?"

"Where it says first and last name."

"...and where is that?"

That is what his original quote was... I didn't mind him signing somewhere else, but that was a shitty way to do it.

Not that it matters one bit, but I have sort of forgiven him.. but it doesn't change the way I feel about him, which was permanently tarnished.

Sad, but true.

Welcome back Jamar. You were a beacon of light in the prolapsed anus that was 2008-2015.

Good for him. Never going to fault someone for putting bread on their table legally. The Chiefs didn't want him, so he did what he needed to do to further his career. He was a tough, gritty player who always gave his all. Watching him run between the hash marks was a gift. One of the best looking runners I've ever seen. Pure and natural.

I'm fine with him signing with whomever will give him a job. I'm not so fine with how it went down.

Football players have to ingratiate themselves with their new team, new fan base and the local media. Especially if they are coming from a rival team. It happens all the time. It's just good PR. JC is a Chief icon and always will be. JMHO.

Yeah, that was a huge mistake on his part, whether it was true or not.

I guess this one-day contract cleans some of the stink off of him, but he'll never completely cleanse himself. That saddens me, because he was one of my favorite Chiefs ever.

Who cares that he said he's always wanted to play for them? You idiots take things people say so seriously. Wtf did you want him to say after signing there? "Uhh yeah, I hate this ****ing franchise, but they're the only ones who called". Give me a break. It's not like he pulled a TG and whined his way into a trade and then basically shit talk the organization after being elected into the HoF.

This board is filled with such pussies. Oh but he went and played for the Broncos after the Chiefs ****ed him around with his knee injury and didn't want him back. So he's supposed to just not play anymore?

I'll be ticked off if he signs a 30-second contract with the Broncos tomorrow.
