Chiefs need to receive the ball first...they are designed to play with a lead.

Whenever they've had a lead in these games is when the defense actually did something...

It stresses the opposition because they know if they dont match the points...they can get behind in a hurry and start pressing...and Spags can do his exotic blitzes.

Teams are scoring on their first drives...which gives them momentum...and the balls to go on fourth down because they arent behind.

That was one of the best regular season games in a long time. Hopefully if we have another game like that we get a different ending.

God, I hope the defense can get their heads out of their collective asses this coming week. I have a lot of money on this game (with multiple Bills fans), to hopefully shut them up. Bills fans run rampant where I live, and so do their mouths. Every year, I hear, we are going to the Super Bowl. Must be nice knowing your going to the super bowl every year, without ever playing a single regular season game. Bills have to be the best offseason team in the history of the NFL, according to Bills fans. Usually by week 4, the Bills blow it, and Bills fans shut the **** up. Now they have Josh Allen, and they haven't been blowing it, just in the postseason. Anyway, Buck Fuffalo. Go Chiefs! /End rant

If the defense can keep them from scoring in less than 5 plays, I'll consider it a success.
Hell, holding the Bills to a field goal will be cause for celebration.

Here is a stat that is worth noting

TOP was almost even in the Philly game yet KC racked up 42 points...and 7 points from the Eagles were just "run-the clock-out" window-dressing fodder.

Bills had almost 17 offensive minutes more to produce 40 points....21:45/38:15

KC is rolling with much more offensive efficiency...WITHOUT Gordon.

If Gordon is what I think he's potentially going to be....no one is going to be able to stop this offense.

You saw it today...safeties dropped 15-20 yards back. They arent going to be able to do that anymore...

Gordon is extremely intriguing to me...as he's joining an offense that teams cant stop in it's current iteration.

Chiefs are 2-2 because of defense and turnovers....that's it. They are +7 in turnovers against pretty good teams...and the games have still come down to the wire.

Gordon "was" an elite talent...his number are WAY better than Watkins and without the injury history. This is one big, fast dude with great hands. He's like 15 pounds heavier and 1" taller than Sammy...and an abnormal wing-span. Watkins best season was 1,050 in 13 games. Gordon put up 1650 in 14 games....where everyone knew he was the only option.

I wasn't surprised when the Chiefs players said they didn't realize he was this big...and brought up Calvin Johnson.

He's too big to single cover...and too talented.

If this plays out without off-field issues...this might be the best offense in history. I dont know how you defend it...

I'm hoping that thing called the home field advantage with the crowd noise, will help the Chiefs D,but i'm not real confident. My mind keeps going back to the Monday night home game against Buffalo, back when they had Kelly etc. Wish we could have a strong defense like back then. But,i'd still rather have Mahomes haha.

Cant argue that...I was merely talking about the uncorrupted elements of my personal entertainment.

I do have to mention that if you actually think Goodell is that powerful...you might benefit from taking a course in political theory.

That Rams game was epic....from a strictly entertainment value perspective...I'll take it.

I still remember where I was ...watching that game....and Clete's beady-eyed evil face.

Chiefs/Saints SB would have been such an awesome game...but we got some manufactured lame-ass Rams vs. Brady...that no one watched.

They should have manufactured some more touchdowns that game. Isn't it as easy as throwing some flags and extending some drives? Musta forgot.

The 33-6 game where DT ran amok - remember it well.

This is what I keep thinking about. I have no idea how they're going to stop the run. Those holes we opened up yesterday were HUGE.
