Good call. I’m going to start dropping some bills on the Bills when they play weak teams. Guaranteed to run up the score.

I personally just want Spags to be either a 0 or a 1 on this chart here, instead of the 8-10 that he normally is. Please please please someone go over film with him this week.

The defensive line was beat up last night. Hell, for much of the 2nd half, they were running a 3-man front with Karlaftis at DT and Jones at DE.

I think Danna and McDuffie come back which will be a huge boost to the defense.

But man I am very worried that Von Miller is going to rape Orlando Brown Jr.

I’d like to think they’ll be dialed in like the Tampa game. If the interior OL can dominate like that night, the tackles won’t matter as much.

I think it would be wise to run a lot of two and three TE sets to help chip those edge rushers.

And I know a lot of people feel like running the ball is a waste of a down, but the reality is that running the ball slows down a pass rush by keeping them honest in their responsibilities, as well as making the defense honor their run fits in play-action passing. It's important. Even if that run only goes for a couple of yards, it sets up opportunities.

It's still football, even when you have Mahomes.

That Bills edge rush has me really, really concerned.

I think the lines will be able to run the ball well and stop the run effectively -- they were atrocious yesterday but it was a bad spot, coming off the Tampa high and looking ahead to this week's game. But Von Miller is going to absolutely put it on both of our tackles. Miller is a terrible matchup for Brown, and Wylie has no prayer. The other edge rushers will give us fits too, but Miller is the one who can break the game like Crosby just about did this week. We have real problems at tackle.

I am interested to see if McDuffie can come back this week. If he can, I think the Chiefs have the horses to keep up with Buffalo's passing game, believe it or not. But while Von Miller can wreck us on the defensive side, I think Singletary/Allen in the run game can wreck us on the offensive side. If the DL is up for the challenge of stopping the run, then I think we can put a lid on the Bills. They'll still be able to score 25 points, give or take, but they're going to end up punting some, and that may be enough for them to take the game.

The Bills defense is really, really good, but I just don't think it matters if Mahomes can stay upright. If Reid/Mahomes can scheme up protections for Mahomes that keep Von off him, we've got a good chance to take this game.

My one question: is McDuffie playing.

If yes, then I think we have the horses to slow down the Bills, and we have a 60/40 shot.

If no, then I think we're going to struggle to plug all the holes in the dam, and I give the Bills a 60/40 shot.

KC knows how Buffalo plays. Make them dink and dunk down the field. Don’t let them get the home run with Davis like they did in the playoffs last year. Buffalo lost to Miami and darn near lost to a Baltimore team whose defense is a shadow of what people remember. Buffalo is good, but not unbeatable. You can’t use last night’s game as any sort of gauge. KC looked like garbage against Indy and then beat down a TB team that had everyone back. KC will be ready for the Bills. Not guaranteeing a win, but I am expecting a very good game.

Run it enough to keep them honest. Other than that, throw it around.

The Chargers have Mack and Bosa and the line held up decently. No one will confuse them with the Chiefs OLine of the early 2000s, but I think you are too doom and gloom on your prediction.

I'm sorry but thinking the Chiefs have a better-than-even shot at beating the Bills if McDuffie plays, in what is likely an AFCCG preview, is too doom and gloom?

I'm not even going to respond to the first sentence, which is laughable.

I want you to tell me that I'm being too doom and gloom by predicting a Chiefs victory if McDuffie plays against a Top 2 team in the NFL. Tell me I'm too negative.

What the hell happened to ChiefsPlanet. When did we all morph into True Fans.
