He's been shaky in that 30-40 yard range, it's the oddest thing.

And this isn't some new thing that popped up with the ankle injury. This has been an issue since last season. Maybe even before.

Sure but we're talking about a point off the board for a missed PAT vs losing 3 Pts on a missed FG, not to mention gifting huge field position and in many cases killing momentum by ending a productive drive with 0 points. This season;

He sprained his ankle in the first game of the season, and has only played in four games this season, three after his week 1 injury. in spite of that, he's 5of-8 FGM, and 12-13 XPs.

They used to be and then the NFL moved it back some. As such more kickers miss them now. This is what the NFL wanted and they got it.

I agree and Harrison still hits most of them. Hell, our "other" kickers highlighted how bad it can be. Perhaps I'm focusing some of that blame onto Butker when he doesn't deserve it.
