We could get by with Tranquill. People forget he filled in very well for Bolton in 2023 and I’m pretty sure half the reason they resigned him was in case they couldn’t keep Bolton at their price point.

I think he’s a goner, unfortunately. However, I want a goddamn offense again.

There was one of the Mock draft guys who was talking to Cole on YouTube who said that there was a later round guy that the Chiefs could probably pick in the later rounds that was pretty much a Bolton clone.....I think it was Chris Paul Jr.

The only difference he said with Paul was that he could cover TE's and Backs out of the backfield better than Bolton.

I hadn't even heard of the guy until that segment.

They need to let him walk and have Conner take his role.

I feel bad for Conner bc they clearly played him as a slot corner to replace Sneed and he got embarrassed there. He’s ideal playing Reid’s role where he can move around and have everything in front of him to attack instead of having his back turned to the QB playing in coverage.

Conner excels at what Reid does: big body taking on blockers, tackling and pursuing. We have our in house replacement for Reid.

Everybody says Hicks but I love what Hicks showed in coverage. Keep him deep IMO

It's very possible that Bolton is more valuable to KC than just about any other team. He runs our D great. Other teams flat out won't want him at all.

I think they'll let him find his market and if his ego and agent don't get in the way he'll make the most money here.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

It could also be Dumas-Johnson out of Kentucky. He's a more athletic, explosive athlete than Bolton but otherwise quite similar.
